Brad Eisenmann

General Manager
At my previous company, I had gained experience with design and project management in a large industrial environment but desired the chance to work closely with clients. Back in 1994, Aspen had a role that combined project management duties with upfront sales and business development responsibilities. That combined with a compelling vision cast by Ed Bahler about a place where people enjoy working together in an entrepreneurial environment motivated me to make the move. Since then we have sharpened the vision to focus on building churches and it has been great fun watching people align behind that vision – and join Aspen because of it – and truly see their careers as ministry.

Person living or dead I would love to meet is...
My grandfathers. I was five when my Dad’s dad passed away and I have always wished I had known him. His reputation was that of a quiet man with a strong faith and bedrock convictions. I had the blessing of knowing my Mom’s dad who died the year I got married, back in ‘86. I’m told I have his sense of humor and must confess to some pride about that. He too was a man of faith who worked hard and loved his family.
How I spend my free time...
I am blessed with a wonderful wife and best friend, Cindy, and love spending time with her. One of the favorite things we like to do with our four children (Greg, Ryan, Julie and Nelson) is take family vacations to national parks that involve a lot of hiking; we have wonderful memories from many such trips. Otherwise, my free time most often gets absorbed with reading – I love a wide variety of subjects including history, business, leadership, historical fiction and the occasional Clancy or Grisham novel. Last, but certainly not least, I love flying small airplanes!
Music on my iPod...
Lots of Phil Coulter and Greater Vision, some George Winston, Jim Couchenour and Allison Krause, mostly instrumental stuff and southern gospel plus a little bluegrass and classic country.
Last book I enjoyed reading...
It would seem appropriate to pick some business or leadership book—and I have benefitted from many of them – but to really say I enjoyed it usually involves a book that makes history come alive, often in the form of historical fiction or a well-written biography. "A Man in Full", the Conrad Black bio on RIchard Nixon fits that description - fascinating man who weathers storm after storm (some of his own making) to rebound and thrive again.
Words to live by...
“Love the Lord God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength and your neighbor as yourself.”
