Kristin Ruther

Customer Relations Coordinator, Chicago Office

I truly enjoy building relationships and serving the church community. My blend of more than 10 years of professional experience and volunteer work as a Sunday school teacher, church building committee member, and other community activities lends itself well to understanding the needs of our clients. I have my Bachelors Degree in Organizational Administration from Central Michigan University and have been in client development at a multibillion dollar firm. But, my passion is assisting churches in attaining their goals. Aspen Group’s enthusiastic energy and desire to unselfishly serve the church community with a commitment to quality unique in a design/build firm make it easy to work with pastors and building committees.

The most rewarding part of my job is...

Encouraging and learning from Pastors living in the trenches. I feel blessed to be surrounded by so many godly people who seek to glorify God.

Person living or dead I would love to meet...

My children have always been interested in the Civil War, so Robert E. Lee was a favorite hero. I have visited his home at Arlington National Cemetery. Lee was a man of courage and great faith. He inspired his men and they loved him. I like to be around authentic people and learn how great men act, so I would like to meet Robert E. Lee.

Music on my iPod...

Jeremy Camp, Grits, Barlow Girl, Brandon Heath

Outside of work I enjoy...

Gardening, golfing, serving in any ministry related to the Christian Youth Center, meeting friends for dinner, and spending time with my family.

Last book I enjoyed reading...

Sticky Church by Larry Osborne

Words to live by...

“The narrow way is never hit upon by chance.”
