Zionsville Fellowship
Zionsville, Indiana
The town of Zionsville is famous for historic, Colonial style buildings. Aspen Group architects designed this 63,000-square-foot church facility with stone and white clapboard to complement the surroundings. Exterior features include a 100-foot steeple and a private courtyard. The church’s facilities include an 800-seat sanctuary, fellowship hall, large kitchen, classrooms and offices.
The church’s 900 members could not all worship at a single service, said Patty Blakley, building committee member. “We wanted to be able to have one service so we could all be together. We feel more unity at one service.” To add to its worship services, Aspen Group created a unique acoustical design that enhances congregational participation.
“We chose Aspen Group Buildings because we felt a connection and kindred spirit with them,” Blakley says. “We appreciate the concern they have for their clients and subcontractors.”
