Director of Marketing

Marian joined the Aspen team full-time in 2014. With more than 20 years experience in publishing, she spends her time telling stories about how churches use their facilities as a tool for ministry, and how to align culture, leadership, ministry, and facilities for maximum ministry impact. Marian oversees Aspen's annual Alignment Conference and all communications for Aspen Group.

The Most Rewarding Aspect of My Job

I love hearing stories from the churches we work with about how their facilities are creating an impact on their ministry effectiveness. It’s a great privilege to listen carefully to our clients to understand their needs and to create learning events that help the church understand the times we’re living in and know what to do to meet people where they are.

Outside of Work

I love spending time with our four sons and our grandson, and I love to travel. My mantra is, “Always keep your passport current!” For several years, I’ve been involved with Team World Vision, and I’ve run three Chicago Marathons to help raise money for clean water in Africa. I’ve also traveled to Africa twice to learn about how resources are used by World Vision and about issues facing the global poor, especially women and children.

Scripture verse:

“Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.” (John 15:4)
