Church Relations Coordinator

I’m a Church Relations Coordinator, which means I’m the first point of contact for churches interested in learning more about Aspen Group and how we help churches create space for ministry impact.

The Most Rewarding Aspect of My Job

The people—my coworkers and clients alike! I truly enjoy the people I spend my days with at the office. Work is my “home away from home,” and I love the interesting conversations I get to be part of with Aspen’s bright, funny, and insightful team. As we travel to churches, I relish the opportunity to get to know new faces and learn about new ministries. Seeing how we can come alongside and bolster a church’s work is gratifying—and having the opportunity to personally hear a church’s story is a privilege.

Outside of the Office

What makes me tick? Jesus and all the ways he keeps showing up where we least expect him to. Whipping up baked goods while listening to Big Band or the best of the 80s. Long conversations about both the mundane and profound stuff of life. Taking in theater that shapes my thinking about the world and the human condition. Singing unabashedly in the car (sometimes with hand motions).

“We do not draw people to Christ by loudly discrediting what they believe, by telling them how wrong they are and how right we are, but by showing them a light that is so lovely that they want with all their hearts to know the source of it.”

—Madeleine L'Engle
