AIA, NCARB – Project Architect
Since my formative years, I have always been interested in the details and aesthetics of the world around me. In college, I studied Architecture at the Illinois Institute of Technology, earning my Bachelor of Architecture degree with a Minor in Construction Management. During my junior year of college, I did an internship with Aspen Group, and had a great experience. Shortly after graduating, I secured a position on their design team. I have since gone on to become fully licensed, and now serve as a Project Architect in Studio 1F (One Foundation) in our Frankfort, Illinois office.
The thing I enjoy about working at Aspen is the ability to use my architectural experience to serve God through the relationships formed with our church partners as we help them to design and build spaces for ministry impact. The welcoming and collaborative environment at Aspen Group is also very attractive.
The Most Rewarding Part of My Job
Being a part of helping our church partners better understand, visualize, dream, and realize the new and/or revitalized spaces that we create as a team.
Outside of Work I Enjoy
Eating great food, experiencing different cultures, playing the drums, enjoying the smell of a fresh rain, spontaneous dance parties with my wife and daughter, listening to the Foo Fighters, fast cars, the quietness of a winter snowfall, traveling, woodworking, relaxing with a good movie.

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
