Construction Project Manager

Our experienced Construction Project Manager position is a challenging and rewarding opportunity. We’re looking for candidates with excellent commercial project execution experience within a general contractor or design/build company, a desire to serve churches, and a flexible/adaptable team mindset.

You’ll be the lead construction management professional as we serve as a general contractor for large, custom ministry facilities– a mixture of renovations, additions, and new green site projects. Our PMs are typically managing a number of projects in preconstruction (along with a team of developer and design professionals) as well as a few projects in construction. Generally project size is between $5-30 million per project.

  • Lead the preconstruction effort
  • Effective management of client relationships
  • Effectively procure work: from bid packages, directing pre-bid meetings, detailed analysis of bids, contract administration, to close out.
  • Project scheduling
  • Identify and mitigate risks
  • Direct project internal meetings and lead team during construction
  • Ensure that construction is in accordance with contract documents
  • Identify and lead cost savings efforts through value engineering or assembly of accurate general condition estimates.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, submittals, and change orders
  • Collaborate with onsite superintendent.
  • Quality and safety compliance
  • Experience with construction software (Procore and MS-Project)

Relevant Experience:

  • Minimum eight (8) years’ experience managing $10M+ complex building projects with proven track record as the leader in charge for outcome (client leadership, financial, completion, schedule).
  • A background in working closely with design and architecture (design/build experience a plus!)
  • Must have ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Education: Minimum four-year degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience.
